​​ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME!    Join the Farm Bureau Women’s Committee for a Barn Quilt Painting Class and enjoy a day of creativity and fun.  In this class you will:

• Learn to layout and draw your pattern if you wish (must have taken our prior class or have quilting/graphing experience)

• OR you can choose to have us draw the pattern so you can begin painting right away. 

You will be able to choose from the patterns below and select your colors.  Your beautiful weatherproof and fade resistant BQ can be used outdoors or as interior décor.  Bring lunch and something to drink as well as snacks if you wish. 

* Please bring a hair dryer if you have one to help speed up paint drying time between colors. 

The barn quilts will be painted on 3mm ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) and sealed for durability.  All material and supplies will be provided.  Most patterns can be completed in 4-6 hours however we encourage you to take your time and have fun.

Please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting a little paint on and comfortable shoes, you may find it more comfortable to stand for some of the process.

2026 Class Fee:

2’x2’ Barn quilt - $120

1’x1’ Barn quilt - $80

Upon initial registration, we will provide information for submitting your payment.  

Payment in full is required no later than 1 week prior to your selected class to confirm your reservation.

Cancellation Policy: Should you have to cancel, payments are non-refundable.

Remember, you don’t have to know how to paint, you just need to want to paint!

Your class fee helps us to continue supporting children’s and senior’s programs in Fluvanna County such as Scholarships for graduating HS seniors who live in Fluvanna, 4H, FFA, Ronald McDonald House, Agriculture in the Classroom and others.​​​​​
